September 16.
Today we drove back to Halifax. A good day to drive, mostly sunny, not much traffic.
Stopped in New Glasgow for lunch and a fill up, then more 'who am I' and what will we do in Halifax.
Arrived about 3:30, checked in, then caught the passenger ferry from Dartmouth to the dockside in Halifax. Got some ice cream and walked around, checking out the buskers, bike and Segway rentals. Have never seen a bagpiper in flip flops before.
Later, Don & Jane went to see the star shaped citadel overlooking the city while we went looking for dinner.
Night ferry ride back to Dartmouth under a waxing moon, a short salon on poetry for two voices, then a round of Farkle.
